A stones throw from the coast and a short stroll from Rye’s town centre is the eclectic Globe Inn Marsh. A fantastic mish-mash of cosy fireplaces, unusual objects and stylish furnishings. As you walk through the door you’ll see a fine selection of nibbles and artisan breads ready for dipping in stews and soups.
They have plenty of garden space to enjoy the summer sun and after a walk exploring the history and antique shops of Rye this is the perfect location to put your feet up and have a treat.
We have selected 100 of our favourite pubs in England. We have visited and photographed each one ourselves & none of the pubs have paid for their inclusion so it is 100% honest.
We want to make it easy to find new and interesting places to visit. We research, visit and photograph every place ourselves and use our website, app and books to help inspire people to discover new things.
I brought this as a stocking filler and was so impressed I brought myself one. It's really nicely laid out with lovely photos. I've tried a couple of the pubs and looking forward to seeing more of Sussex over the summer months.
