High Beeches is one of the most enchanting gardens in Sussex, they stretch over 27 acres and start high up offering great views over the treetops. You can meander through the wondrous colourful collections of rare plants and sit peacefully by the waters edge.
The gardens are a botanical treasure trove and welcome visitors throughout spring, summer and autumn and there is always something striking either blooming or changing colour to wow the senses. This is a real treat for all ages to enjoy nature and wildlife at its finest and children under 14 get free entry.
We want to make it easy to find new and interesting places to visit. We research, visit and photograph every place ourselves and use our website, app and books to help inspire people to discover new things.
I brought this as a stocking filler and was so impressed I brought myself one. It's really nicely laid out with lovely photos. I've tried a couple of the pubs and looking forward to seeing more of Sussex over the summer months.
