Records show that a farm existed on the site of Low Sizergh Barn since the 13th century. Once the home farm of Sizergh Castle, the farm today is one of the largest providers of dairy products in the region. The welfare of the animals and the natural environment is of paramount importance to the farm.
With a beautiful 17th century barn farm shop offering quality produce with provenance, the café above the milking sheds offers cooked breakfasts, light lunches and farmhouse teas. Every afternoon around 3.30pm the farm’s cows come in to be milked and the café’s large windows provides the perfect viewing gallery.
We have selected 100 of our favourite pubs in England. We have visited and photographed each one ourselves & none of the pubs have paid for their inclusion so it is 100% honest.
We want to make it easy to find new and interesting places to visit. We research, visit and photograph every place ourselves and use our website, app and books to help inspire people to discover new things.
This book arrived this week, and I have already planned many trips from it! It's fantastic! I'd recommend it to anyone looking for reasonably priced food stops of all varieties! ★★★★★
