On a sunny afternoon, finer views are hard to find in Folkestone than those to be had from Rocksalt. This modern Restaurant overlooks the busy little harbour and specialises in the day’s catch by local fisherman wherever possible.
Run by Mark Sargeant, one-time head chef at Claridge’s, the sleek glass structure is cantilevered off the harbour wall and provides a sophisticated addition to this seaside town. Dishes include Lobster & Salmon Pasty, Cucumber Cured Mackerel and Potted Dungeness Shrimps.
Absolutely brilliant booklet which will enable us to visit places, tea rooms and restaurants that we didn't know about. Looking forward to some great days out.
