The Galley Coffee House on the seafront of Seaford is a great spot to sit and watch the sea. A large terrace opens out onto the Marine Parade and offers great views, the inside of the café is relatively basic with plenty of seating and sofa’s along one wall for extra comfort. Fresh cakes and home made goods are available during the day and the bar is often open for members.
The Galley Café has lots of games and magazines to keep visitors busy on those less sunny days and there is also a pool table at the far end of the café. The Galley is part of the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club, NSSC, a training centre for catamaran, dinghy, windsurf and keelboat. They sail throughout the year and have annual events.
We want to make it easy to find new and interesting places to visit. We research, visit and photograph every place ourselves and use our website, app and books to help inspire people to discover new things.
I brought this as a stocking filler and was so impressed I brought myself one. It's really nicely laid out with lovely photos. I've tried a couple of the pubs and looking forward to seeing more of Sussex over the summer months.
