The Goods Shed is a daily farmers’ market, providing the best from Kent’s ‘Garden of England’. The on-site restaurant with its open kitchen, serves distinctive dishes created from ingredients sourced from the market. Candlelit in the evening or suffused by sunlight, the restaurant is full of ambience.
The characterful station building highlights its Victorian features from rustic brick walls to dramatic arched windows. Naturally seasonal produce ranges from pressed juices and organic vegetables to fishmongers and charcuteries. The finest local suppliers showcase their ingredients here.
What a great book. I bought 2. One for me and one for my best friend to enjoy. Beautifully photographed and with clear information. Everyone's commented on it and I love planning my next visit to a new tea room or pub etc. A joy. ★★★★★
I brought this as a stocking filler and was so impressed I brought myself one. It's really nicely laid out with lovely photos. I've tried a couple of the pubs and looking forward to seeing more of Sussex over the summer months.
Well pleased with book, it is well laid out and contains lots of places I have not heard of even though I live in Kent. Am looking forward to trying out a few new ones. Would highly recommend it ★★★★★
