About

Enveloped by ancient woodland and sprawling gardens, Boconnoc boasts a stunning setting on a Georgian country estate. Filled with grandeur and centuries-old history, the building was first recorded in the Domesday Book in 1086. And it’s equally as impressive on the inside with its elegant reception rooms and country-style bedrooms that look out onto the lush parkland. Sympathetically blending period features with unique design and modern furnishings, it’s easy to sink into a more relaxed state of mind at this peaceful retreat. Imagine days spent strolling the grounds, playing tennis or picnicking by the lake.

Food and Drink

As well as Trewithen butter and milk and Olfactory roasted coffee; Cornish cream tea with homemade scones and Trewithen Dairy clotted cream and Boddington’s Cornish jam is provided for guests staying in the self-catering cottages accommodation. And for guests staying in the main house, breakfast can be provided upon request. There are several local caterers and private chefs that can be hired for your stay at Boconnoc, showcasing the finest Cornish produce.



Rooms

There are five gorgeous accommodations available at Boconnoc, including the Groom’s House, Head Groom’s House, The Dairy House, The Stewardry and Boconnoc House. Each property features high-end furnishings and the most luxurious bedrooms designed to whisk you into complete relaxation. Every detail has been carefully considered with fluffy towels, organic toiletries and fully equipped kitchens providing everything you need for the perfect stay.



Out and About

You don’t have to venture far to enjoy the estate’s picturesque woodlands, orchard and lake, where you can even try your hand at paddleboarding. But if you do want to get out and about to explore the local area, Boconnoc is just a short drive from the Cornish market town of Lostwithiel where you’ll find wonderful antique shops, Old Duchy Palace, museum and Restormel Castle. Alternatively, drive a little further afield to the popular coastal town of Fowey for a day at the beach.
