About

At the heart of the idyllic coastal village of Mullion, The Old Inn is a traditional 16th-century pub that has retained its old-world Cornish charm. Think thatched roof, parquet flooring and cosy nooks and crannies with sash windows and exposed wooden beams. You can almost hear the jovial chatter of travellers from times gone by as they drank traditional cask ales. Hanging on the walls you’ll find interesting artwork and artefacts and beautiful antique furniture in keeping with the heritage of Mullion is dotted throughout the inn.

Food and Drink

Together, chefs Conna Ninian and Owen Briggs create a talented team that has earned The Old Inn an esteemed reputation when it comes to food. Sourcing meat and fish from local suppliers and taking inspiration from the seasons, they work their culinary magic on traditional dishes to bring together all the vibrant flavours of the fresh ingredients. Tuck into tasty burgers, woodfired pizza or beer battered fish and chips, all washed down with your favourite tipple. If you prefer something plant-based, there are also delicious vegetarian and vegan options.

Rooms

Don’t worry about lingering a little longer over your drinks in the evening as there are five en-suite rooms at the inn, each individually designed with beautiful views. You can even bring your dog along with you as long as they’re well behaved. All the rooms also include a hairdryer, toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities to make your stay even more perfect. Before you set off on your adventures in the morning, fuel up with a traditional Cornish breakfast.

Out and About

Lying on the Lizard Peninsula at the most southerly point of mainland Britain, The Old Inn boasts a picturesque setting in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Walk along the windswept South West Coast Path, exploring secluded bays and sampling fresh, local seafood along the way. Alternatively, explore the gift shops, galleries and cafes that lie along the coast.
